1. To become a
cadet, you need to be at least 13 (or in Year 9), and no
older than 16, to join.

Ask your
parent/caregiver to either phone the Unit Commander, or
just come down to a parade night (Tuesdays) between
1830hrs - 2100hrs at
the Army Drill Hall,
Cnr 11th Ave & Devonport Road, where you
will be shown around, and you can participate in the
evening’s activities. Please come in your school
uniform.
3.
After
attending a few parade nights, if you feel it is
something you would like to pursue, you will be invited
to join. It is then a matter of a few forms being
completed by your parent/caregiver. Once these are
handed in, you will be issued with your uniform.
4.
You will
start as a New Entrant, and progress to the rank of
Ordinary Cadet within the first few months.
